Kindness Scrolling
Less awkwardness. More hello.
Loneliness rarely announces itself. Somebody goes quiet, the gap grows, and the longer it runs the more awkward it feels to be the one who breaks it. Kindness Scrolling is our answer to that: small, respectful ways to reach back.
It does not label anybody lonely and it does not ask them to explain their silence. It just makes the first message easy to send.
No phrase is perfect in every situation. These reduce pressure by avoiding diagnosis, blame, forced disclosure and repeated pursuit.
Three episodes of the Mr Purple podcast on exactly this.
Marg Lange, Ep 42
Connection treated as something you actually work at, rather than something that just happens.
Kayla Malss, Ep 99
On finding your people, and why the right room matters more than the biggest one.
Vanja Simic, Ep 131
Challenging the labels we inherit, which is the same argument this campaign is built on.
The whole show is on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
BGA is a peer community, not a counselling, crisis or clinical service.
We do not diagnose, rescue or pressure people. We listen before advising, ask permission before sharing stories and respect the other person's pace.
